Reading Break rants

Sat Feb 17, 2007, 4:17 PM
  • Mood: Questionable
  • Listening to: Etta James - At last
  • Reading: Family studies and neuroendocrinology texts
  • Eating: chocolate icecream
  • Drinking: milk <3
Well today is the first day of reading break, a week off from school tedium...however, I'm actually going to be reading/cramming this entire week *siiiiiiggghhhhh*. I have three exams as soon as i return to class...And i just finished writing two, which i think i aced, but the next three are gonna be superhard. :fear:
Other than that, pretty much i can take it easy for the next week and just chill out at home studying. Like a normal college student, i should be out partying every night and spending the majority of break in a drunken stupor. However, lately the partying life has just gotten old to me, which is funny because i was never a "party girl" anyway. I spent my friday night watching the Godfather instead of going out :XD:. I used to love going clubbing more than anything else, but now, even though i still adore dancing, the thought of having to fight off the usual sleazy guys trying to sneak up behind me and hump my leg is so unappealing that i avoid going. And if i do, i'm wearing jeans and sneakers, no more miniskirts and megaheels.
Anyway, I dyed my hair nearly black last night. I love it. It's not emo/goth black, it's more like a deep natural brown/black. It suits me so much better. And its funny because last summer i was bleach blonde, in the fall i had red hair, then i had brown hair (my natural) and now it's black...When i was blonde i got so much male attention it was ridiculous, then as soon as i went darker, that was it...never a second look again . Although there is a MAJOR asian fetish in this city, so maybe my dark hair will work to my advantage :D. Yeah, I'm sad i know .
Anyway, back to nerding!!

Pfah, partying.
Though some say I wasted college by not partying, not jumping on every co-ed I could find, and by finishing the horrible experience in 4 years instead of dragging it out to 5-6.

Personally I'm not a fan of blondes. Don't know why. Don't understand that asian thing either.

Yeah, i'm so glad i'm finishing in 4 years!! And i'm one of the only ones of my highschool class who is actually finishing on time...i'd die if i had to spend another year here.
I'm not a fan of blondes either, mainly on guys, i just don't find blonde guys attractive...I only dyed my hair blonde for fun and for a change.
And the asian thing drives me crazy!! Just about every single guy i know will exclusively date asian girls. They refuse to even look at anyone else. My brother is like that, he only dates asians, and he calls me "Amazon" because i'm not 5 feet tall and 90lbs like the girls he's used to :XD:.

I really don't understand the asian thing at all.

Maybe it is being 6'1" and my brain not being able to shift out of thinking they are children when I see them because they are so small in comparison to me.

Oooh being tall doesn't make any difference here! It's usually a really tall, bigger guy with a tiny girl he could break in half. Seems a little sick to me...like they're going out with little kids. :o

On the upside, i feel like i'm really tall here . In my hometown all the guys were at least 6'4" and the girls at least 5'8", so i was the short tiny one all the time. But in vancouver, where the majority is probably asian, i'm towering over people hahaha. :XD:
